Raiden X

A Flash game that is a tribute to Raiden and Raiden II and (as many of you know) there were lots of glitches in them. I even wished I'd never uploaded them in the first place - as I was just a n00b at Flash programming back then. So why should I not remake the whole thing again, as now I have experience with programming?

So that was how development eventually started. Nothing much has changed, besides having additional features (e.g. save game) and fixed glitches (you know what they are!).

Super Chuck Norris Bros. Is Action Packed

This is a video of Super Chuck Norris Bros. Allegedly it's a real game somebody has been working on. Basically you roundhouse kick the shit out of a bunch of goombas, grab a chainsaw or shotgun, destroy the tree and hills in the background, and all around kick ass. What surprised me was that Chuck Norris was caught playing in a video game. Chuck Norris doesn't play video games, he bangs my girlfriend while I do. Then he beats my high score while she's making him a sandwich. Hit the jump for another video of the game with some kid talking over it complaining about how it's stupid Chuck can't die or lose in the game. Ha, like Chuck Norris could ever die. You moron.

The greatest Science Fiction movie series ever didn’t feature much in the way of humor, and when they did attempt to inject a little humor into the series, we were stuck with that retarded gecko Jar Jar Binks, the most hated character in the history of movie-making. So, instead of relying on George Lucas to come up with funny stuff in the Star Wars universe, it was left to all the fans out there.

Plasma Speaker

This is pretty sweet. This guy made a plasma speaker, and played a cd from his walkman. geekologie says the technogy has been around since the fifties, and seems to think it is pretty cool. "pitch is altered by the constantly shifting intensity of the plasma arc (the creator puts the frequency response range at 200Hz to 12kHz, and the speaker runs at 50W)." That seems very simple to me, only one variant to adjust to generate the sound. I bet we'll see dual and quad plasma cores on our speakers....that is, if this takes off.
